Great to meet you!

I believe mental health care works best when you feel comfortable, supported, and actively involved in your treatment. In addition to medication management, I incorporate supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and lifestyle factors to help you build meaningful and sustainable improvement in your mental health. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable asking questions, being honest about what you're experiencing, and actively participating in your care. I provide care in both English and Spanish.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is individualized and collaborative. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach or jumping straight to medication changes without understanding the bigger picture. I take time to understand patterns, stressors, lifestyle factors, relationships, and personal goals so that treatment decisions feel thoughtful and realistic. I want you to feel informed and involved as we work together to find an approach that is both effective and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a thoughtful and thorough evaluation focused on understanding the full picture rather than just symptoms alone. We will review your current concerns, relevant history, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals, while also discussing what has or has not worked in the past. My goal is for you to leave the appointment with greater clarity, a better understanding of possible treatment options, and a plan that feels realistic and collaborative.
