Great to meet you!

Have you struggled to find a safe space where you feel comfortable sharing your insecurities, fears, and secrets? Have you struggled with feeling judged when you are vulnerable? Do you feel alone, unheard, misunderstood, lost, or broken? Have you heard mixed messages from family and friends that made you feel worthless or crazy? Have you found yourself entrapped by negative cycles of thought and addiction?

Life can be overwhelming and emotionally distressing. It is during these times that we can feel alone. Please know you are not alone. It is my goal as a therapist to provide a safe space where you feel you can speak completely unfiltered and where you feel seen, heard, and understood. A safe space to share your secrets, explore feelings, and thoughts.

I believe each person is unique with their own background, beliefs, understandings, and lived experience, and therefore, therapy is not a one-size-fits-all. I believe in meeting clients right where they are. Therapy is a personalized journey where everyone heals in their own way. As a therapist, my goal is to utilize a therapy approach based on your needs and goals to help ensure a positive therapeutic experience. Taking a collaborative approach and staying focused on what matters to you is the key.

The power to make positive changes is within us. I strive to provide a supportive environment in which I assist individuals on their journey to healing and becoming healthier. In a compassionate, honest, and informal setting, we will work together to help you learn the skills necessary in understanding and navigating a variety of disorders that affect mood, thought, personality, relationships, and behavior.

I understand that starting therapy can be intimidating. I understand the need for a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. It takes courage to say 'I am overwhelmed,' and one of the bravest things you can do is ask for help.

My approach to therapy

I have a respectful approach to therapy where I believe you are the expert on your own life. I believe therapy is a journey where we will discover together the connection between your current experiences and previous experiences. Together we will discover your unique strengths and values.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my primary goal is to create a soft landing for you. We will focus on building a comfortable connection, exploring what brought you here today, and ensuring you feel safe and heard. There is no pressure to have all the answers; this hour is simply about beginning our journey at a pace that feels right for you
