Great to meet you!

As a licensed therapist, I believe prioritizing your well-being is key to building a fulfilling and resilient life. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, so I commend you for being here! My practice focuses on guiding individual adults through trauma recovery (including relational trauma and narcissistic abuse recovery), borderline traits, anxiety, and major life transitions. Using a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, I work collaboratively with you to look beyond surface-level symptoms, build on your strengths, and move forward at a pace that feels safe for you.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has a unique story and deserves care tailored to their specific needs and goals. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your healing journey. My style is open-minded, warm, and participatory—blending compassion with practical, evidence-based tools to help you look beyond surface-level symptoms and build on your existing resilience.

In our sessions, I integrate Socratic CBT (Guided Discovery), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR* to help you reframe unhelpful thought patterns and safely reprocess past experiences. My practice focuses heavily on trauma recovery (including relational trauma and narcissistic abuse recovery), borderline traits / BPD, anxiety, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and navigating major life transitions. It is essential to me that we communicate openly so you always feel respected, heard, and supported at a pace that feels safe for you.

*Please note: EMDR is offered exclusively as an integrated component of ongoing, primary talk therapy with me, rather than as a standalone service or adjunctive therapy for outside clients.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, your goals, and what’s been feeling difficult lately, while working to help you feel heard and supported throughout. Together, we’ll start mapping out a plan for your treatment that feels realistic, safe, and tailored to your unique needs.
