Great to meet you!

My name is Jessica Moyer and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is bored-certified. I am a dedicated mental health provider with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. My background includes both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as community mental health, where I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations and a wide range of clinical needs.

My experience in community mental health has shaped my commitment to accessible, compassionate care. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel comfortable exploring challenges and building the tools needed for meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, individualized, and rooted in creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I believe that effective treatment starts with truly listening, taking the time to understand your experiences, goals, and concerns before developing a plan together. My style is practical and solution-focused while still being compassionate and approachable. I aim to provide not only symptom relief, but also education and tools that help you better understand yourself and navigate daily life with more confidence.

I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and autism spectrum disorders. I understand that mental health is not one-size-fits-all, and I take a thoughtful, individualized approach to care. My goal is to ensure that each patient feels heard, understood, and supported in a way that aligns with their unique experiences and goals.

When appropriate, I integrate medication management with brief psychotherapy techniques to support both immediate and long-term progress. I emphasize open communication and shared decision-making, so you feel informed and empowered every step of the way.

Whether you’re seeking clarity around a diagnosis, help managing symptoms, or ongoing support, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you move toward meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, relaxed, and nonjudgmental environment where the focus is on getting to know you. We’ll take time to discuss what brings you in, your current concerns, relevant history, and what you’re hoping to gain from treatment. I want you to feel heard, understood, and comfortable asking questions throughout the process.

This initial visit is also an opportunity for us to begin building a clear picture of your needs. When appropriate, we may start discussing possible diagnoses, treatment options, and next steps. My goal is to provide clarity and direction while ensuring you feel involved in every decision.

Together, we’ll begin identifying goals that are realistic, meaningful, and tailored to you, whether that’s improving focus, stabilizing mood, reducing anxiety, processing past experiences, or simply feeling more like yourself again.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a better understanding of your symptoms, a collaborative plan moving forward, and a sense of what working together will look like.
