Great to meet you!

Sometimes the hardest part of trauma isn't what happened - it's how those experiences continue to affect your emotions, relationships, and everyday life. With over 5 years of experience, I specialize in helping individuals navigate trauma, PTSD, Complex PTSD (CPTSD), anxiety, depression, panic attacks, grief, attachment difficulties, emotional overwhelm, OCD, and the lasting effects of painful experiences. I also support clients struggling with thoughts of self-harm or suicide, difficulty feeling safe, and a sense of dissatisfaction or disconnection from life. I have a particular passion for working with first responders and medical professionals who may carry the emotional weight of what they have witnessed or experienced. I believe healing begins with understanding your experiences, recognizing your strengths, and creating a space where your story can be heard without judgment. My goal is to help you move beyond simply surviving and toward greater emotional stability, connection, and confidence in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is calm, compassionate, collaborative, and deeply rooted in trauma-informed care. I believe that many emotional responses and coping patterns develop for a reason, and understanding those reasons is an important part of healing. In session, we may explore how past experiences have shaped your sense of safety, relationships, and emotional responses while developing practical tools to help you feel more grounded. I incorporate psychoeducation to help you understand how trauma affects the mind and body, along with grounding techniques and strategies for regulating your nervous system. My goal is to help you feel empowered with greater self-awareness, practical coping skills, and a stronger sense of safety as we work toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for you to share your story in a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and accepted. There is no expectation that you share everything at once, especially when discussing painful or difficult experiences. We will review any relevant intake information, talk about what brings you to therapy, and explore what you hope to gain from our work together. I will also take time to understand your strengths, concerns, and personal goals so we can begin developing a collaborative treatment plan. My priority is to establish trust, help you feel comfortable, and create a clear direction for therapy that respects your needs and your pace.
