I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor with over 15 years of experience working with clients of all ages. At this time I am available to see clients 18 years and older, dealing with a variety of challenges and concerns, including anxiety, depression, life changes and transitions, stress management, and spiritual beliefs/faith.
I utilize an eclectic approach, incorporating CBT, interpersonal, Motivational Interviewing, solution-focused, positive psychology, strengths-based, and person-centered therapy techniques. Each client and each counseling experience is unique and we will collaboratively find the best approach for you and your unique experiences.
During your initial session we will talk about where you find yourself in life right now, where you've been, and where you'd like to go. We will discuss goals you'd like to achieve, ways to make progress, and how you will know when you have accomplished your goals. I strive to understand your current struggles and to help you feel comfortable during our sessions.
