My name is Jessica Olivo, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I have been working in mental health for over 15 years. I am very passionate in helping individuals achieve a mental balance in life. I have a very calming, supportive and welcoming approach in treatment. I allow my patients to have equal involvement in their care.
I approach care in a calm and therapeutic manner that allows my clients to feel comfortable expressing themselves and to be proactive members in their own treatment. I create a safe unbiased environment for patients to explore their emotions and behaviors freely.
By the end of the initial intake, the patient will feel confident that their care is with the appropriate clinician that is supportive but is also knowledgeable in psychopharmacological therapy. During follow up visits, patients can expect to have a combination of supportive therapy and medication management.
