Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a background rooted in medical social work and hospice care — spaces where I learned that mental and physical health are deeply intertwined. I bring that same whole-person perspective to every session. I've personally navigated postpartum depression and anxiety, and I know firsthand how isolating it can feel to struggle without the right support. That lived experience shapes the way I show up for my clients with genuine empathy, zero judgment, and a deep commitment to making sure you feel truly heard. I'm collaborative and compassionate, but also direct. I'll walk alongside you and give you honest, grounded guidance when you need it. I'm proud to be an affirming therapist for the LGBTQ+ community, single parents, caregivers, and people from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused care, and person-centered, humanistic principles, meaning we'll look at how your thoughts shape your emotions, while always centering your strengths and your own definition of healing. I also draw on Motivational Interviewing to help you tap into your own motivation for change, especially when life feels stuck. Whether you're working through grief, trauma, postpartum struggles, chronic illness, OCD, ADHD, burnout, or a major life transition, I tailor my approach to what fits you, not a one-size-fits-all script. With two years of clinical experience and an MSW from Auburn University, I've built a practice that honors both evidence-based methods and the real complexity of being human.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other and laying a strong foundation. We'll review your intake paperwork together, explore your background and what's brought you to therapy, and start identifying goals that feel meaningful and manageable to you. I'll also share a bit about how I work so you can get a feel for whether we're a good fit, and I want you to leave that first session feeling clearer, not overwhelmed. All sessions are conducted via telehealth, so you can access support from the comfort of your own space. I offer a free 15-minute consultation before we even get started, so feel free to reach out.
