Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Jessica Parmar and I am a therapist who works with adults and teens. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a teacher, which continues to shape how I connect, support, and engage with clients. I’m warm, approachable, and genuine, and I care deeply about the work we do together. I’ll meet you at your pace, but I’m not afraid to challenge you when it supports your growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is centered on building a real and trusting relationship. I strive to create an inclusive, affirming space where you can be yourself openly and without judgment. I integrate evidence-based approaches while honoring your experiences, helping you notice patterns, build practical tools, and respond to difficult thoughts and emotions with more acceptance and compassion. My work often includes exploring how your identity and challenges can be shaped by childhood experiences, neurodiversity, culture, family, and intergenerational patterns.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk through what’s bringing you in. You can expect a calm, supportive space where you don’t need to have everything figured out. I'll spend some time understanding your challenges as well as your strengths. It’s also a chance for us to get a feel for each other and see if we’re a good fit!
