Great to meet you!

I'm a clinical social worker with 13 years of experience. I have an upbeat, creative, warm, and non-judgmental personality, which clients report makes it easy and natural to open up to me. I believe that therapy is an avenue to self-improvement, healing, and transformation. I help clients become more self-aware, improve self-regulation and coping skills, heal from previous stressful and traumatic experiences, enhance their communication skills, and understand their emotions at a deeper level.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I empower clients to make changes to improve their lives. I see myself as a guide who supports clients in their journey of personal and emotional growth. I use traditional counseling techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapy, as well as complementary therapy approaches such as mindfulness and meditation to help clients work towards greater happiness.

What you can expect from our first session

We will spend some time getting to know each other during the initial session. I will ask questions to help me understand your life situation, mental health concerns and therapy goals. We will make a plan of what treatment goals you would like to focus on first and what steps we will take to accomplish them.

I have additional availability on my calendar than what is shown on the website. Feel free to contact me if you would like more information on my open therapy slots.
