Great to meet you!

Therapy can be a place to finally slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what you’ve been carrying. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, family conflict, or the emotional demands of parenthood, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 20 years of experience, I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families in both English and Spanish. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress, grief, maternal mental health, life transitions, substance use concerns, and relationship or family difficulties.

My goal is to create a space where you can be honest without fear of judgment and feel comfortable being exactly where you are. I’ll help you better understand yourself, recognize patterns that may be getting in your way, and build practical tools to manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and move forward with greater confidence and resilience.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Positive Psychology, Family Systems Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Attachment-Based approaches.

I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, supported, and actively engaged in the therapeutic process. Together, we'll explore patterns, emotions, relationships, and experiences that may be contributing to current challenges while developing practical coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, communication tools, and healthier ways of responding to life's stressors.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to better understand your story, discuss what's bringing you to therapy, and identify goals that feel meaningful to you. You don't need to have all the answers before starting therapy.

You can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where we work collaboratively toward growth and healing. Many clients leave therapy with increased self-awareness, improved relationships, stronger coping skills, greater emotional regulation, healthier boundaries, and renewed confidence in navigating life's challenges. My goal is to help you feel empowered, understood, and capable of creating lasting change!
