Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jessica. I’m a wife, mom, and Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping people heal, grow, and move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life. As a Christian counselor, my faith in Jesus is an important part of who I am, and I value the opportunity to support clients who desire to incorporate their Christian faith into their counseling journey.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can better understand what you’re experiencing, process difficult experiences, develop healthier patterns, and work toward the goals that matter most to you. I strive to meet each client where they are without judgment while helping them recognize their strengths and possibilities for growth.

I provide individual counseling for adults and have 13 years of experience working with teens and adults who have experienced trauma. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem, boundaries, and communication and relationship concerns.

I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). For clients who desire it, I also integrate Christian faith and biblical principles into counseling in a respectful and intentional way.

I currently provide individual counseling from my office in downtown Harlingen, Texas, with both in-person and video sessions available. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, navigating grief, processing past experiences, or simply wanting to grow and feel more like yourself again, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

I understand that starting therapy can be scary but I am here to help. I am able to meet you where you are on your healing journey. In therapy, I will go at your pace while also challenge you to take steps toward your goals. I use CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) and have received training in TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy). In 2026, I received training in EMDR. For clients that desire it, I provide faith-based (Christian) counseling which integrates faith into the therapy process.

What you can expect from me

We will together identify the challenges you are currently facing and identify steps to move you toward healing. I will say that I don't have all the answers to your questions, but together in partnership we can figure it out.
