Great to meet you!

I work with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, major life transitions, and challenging relationships. Maybe you feel overwhelmed, stuck in your head, caught in patterns of overthinking, or struggle to set boundaries. You may know something needs to change but feel unsure how to get there—or simply not know where to start. Therapy can be a space to slow down, feel understood, and be fully yourself. My approach is warm and down-to-earth, with humor when it helps. Together, we’ll make sense of what you’re experiencing and find strategies that fit your life.

My approach to therapy

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, an approach that focuses on your strengths, goals, and practical steps toward meaningful change. I also hold an Advanced Certificate in Solution-Focused Therapy from the Institute for Solution-Focused Therapy.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and start getting a sense of what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’re hoping for, and what you’d like to be different. There’s no expectation that you have to share everything right away—therapy can be hard, and we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I’ll ask questions, listen, and probably do a little problem-solving with you, but this isn’t an interview (and you definitely don’t need to have the “right” answers!). My goal is for you to feel understood, comfortable, and like you can be yourself. We’ll start wherever makes sense for you and take it from there.
