Great to meet you!

I believe that each of us carries an inner steadiness that life can sometimes obscure—but never erase. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you can reconnect with your strengths, better understand yourself, and build a life that feels more grounded and fulfilling.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and parenting concerns. I am an EMDR trainer and consultant and integrate evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, attachment-based therapy, and nervous system-informed care. With children, I incorporate play therapy and expressive interventions to help them share their stories, process hard experiences, and build resilience.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a partnership. Rather than focusing only on symptom reduction, I work to understand the whole person—the experiences, relationships, nervous system responses, and strengths that have shaped where you are today.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. Together we'll identify patterns that are keeping you stuck while building practical tools to help you regulate emotions, improve relationships, and move toward the life you want to create. Depending on your needs, our work may include EMDR for trauma, CBT and ACT for developing coping skills, attachment-focused work to understand relationship patterns, or IFS-informed interventions to foster self-compassion and healing.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, so my first priority is helping you feel comfortable and heard. Our first session is a conversation—not an interrogation. We'll spend time getting to know one another, exploring what brought you to therapy, discussing your strengths, and identifying the goals that are most important to you.

By the end of our first session, I hope you'll leave with a clearer understanding of how we'll work together and confidence that you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. From there, we'll create a treatment plan that fits your unique needs and move at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.
