Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Jessica Putnam, and I am a licensed professional counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have spent over a decade as a former educator, during which time I developed a deep appreciation for the complexities of human behavior and the significant impact that early relationships have on our mental health. My passion for understanding these dynamics led me to specialize in attachment theory, which informs much of my therapeutic approach today.

My approach to therapy

I prioritize meeting my clients where they are in their personal journeys. It's my role to provide a safe and supportive environment where one can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment. I draw upon cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, which helps clients identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be contributing to their distress. I tailor my approach to meet the needs of each individual that is collaborative and centered around their personal goals.

What you can expect from me

My primary goal is to help my clients stay anchored in their mental health, equipping them with the tools they need to navigate life's challenges. I strive to empower individuals to cultivate resilience, improve their emotional well-being, and foster healthy relationships in their lives.
