Great to meet you!

My name is Jessica Rivero, and I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (English/Spanish). I bring compassion, professionalism, and cultural awareness into my work, with years of experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. I also have specialized training in treating survivors of domestic violence and child abuse, helping clients rebuild safety and resilience.

My approach to therapy

I believe that healing begins in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, meaning I see you as the expert in your own life. I integrate evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Trauma-Focused treatment to meet your unique needs. I tailor each session so that together we can explore not only your experiences but also how your mind and body hold stress, creating lasting changes in how you cope and connect with others.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel heard, supported, and empowered. My goal is to help you build coping skills, strengthen self-awareness, and foster healthier relationships—with yourself and others. Many clients leave sessions with a clearer understanding of their patterns, practical tools to manage overwhelming emotions, and a growing sense of confidence in their ability to face challenges. Above all, I strive to create a space where you can feel safe to explore, heal, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.
