Great to meet you!
Hello! I’m Jessica Ryder, a Licensed Professional Counselor (VA) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (FL). I view therapy as a collaborative, judgment-free space where you can finally set down the heavy burdens you’ve been carrying. My clinical approach is rooted in the belief that while we often "bury" our past hurts, they continue to influence our present behaviors and emotions until they are addressed. Together, we will work to identify maladaptive patterns and transform them into strengths, empowering you to narrate your own story from a place of internal peace and clarity.
Professional Background & Education I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fort Hays State University. My practice is guided by the philosophy that understanding our "why" allows us to better navigate the "how" of life's challenges. I am also proud to offer services in both English and Arabic, providing a culturally sensitive environment for clients from diverse backgrounds.
The Goal Whether you are navigating a major life transition or seeking to heal from long-standing patterns, my goal is to help you rebuild. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward a more empowered and peaceful life.
