Great to meet you!

Seeking mental health care takes courage, and I'm committed to creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and genuinely supported. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with more than 14 years of nursing experience, I provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to your unique needs. My background in psychiatric nursing, combined with my passion for holistic and integrative psychiatry, allows me to care for the whole person—not just the symptoms.

I believe the best treatment begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and collaboration. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work closely with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include thoughtful medication management, lifestyle modifications, and evidence-based therapeutic strategies. My goal is to help you better understand your mental health, build resilience, and feel empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, or other mental health concerns, I'm here to meet you where you are. Together, we'll work toward improving your emotional well-being, restoring balance, and helping you live a healthier, more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

What sets my approach apart is my commitment to treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis. I recognize that mental health is influenced by many factors—including physical health, lifestyle, relationships, stress, and life experiences—so I take the time to understand the bigger picture before recommending treatment. My goal is to provide care that is thoughtful, individualized, and grounded in the latest evidence while honoring each client's unique experiences and values.

I combine my extensive background in psychiatric nursing with an interest in holistic and integrative psychiatry to create treatment plans that are both comprehensive and practical. Whether medication is part of your care or not, I believe in shared decision-making and open communication. I want you to feel informed, empowered, and actively involved in every step of your treatment. Together, we'll focus on finding sustainable strategies that support your mental wellness and help you achieve meaningful, long-term progress.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story, your strengths, and what brings you to treatment. We'll discuss your current concerns, personal and medical history, past treatment experiences, lifestyle, and the goals you hope to achieve. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether we're a good fit for working together.

I understand that seeking and starting psychiatric care can feel overwhelming, so I strive to make the first appointment as comfortable and conversational as possible. You'll never be rushed or judged. By the end of our session, we'll have a shared understanding of your needs and begin developing a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals, values, and preferences. My hope is that you'll leave feeling heard, supported, and confident about the path forward.
