Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist in Texas and Arizona, and I approach every client from a strength-based, culturally sensitive lens. I specialize in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and hold certification from Postpartum Support International in this area. I also focus on race-related stress, work-life balance for professional women, and Christian counseling. My doctoral research examined microaggressions and resilience among professional African American women, which shapes how I understand identity and wellbeing. Outside of practice, I'm a wife and mother of two daughters and a toddler son, which keeps me grounded in the everyday realities my clients face.

My approach to therapy

My approach is multi-theoretical, drawing on cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and systems therapy, along with solution focused and multicultural methods. Rather than relying on one framework, I tailor the mix to what each client needs. I believe healing happens fastest in a space that feels safe, open, and accepting, so building trust and meeting you without judgment comes before anything else. My goal is always practical progress alongside genuine emotional support, so change feels sustainable rather than forced.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, expect a warm, unhurried conversation where I get to know your story, your goals, and what brought you to therapy now. We'll talk through your history and current stressors so I can start shaping a plan that fits your specific needs. There's no pressure to have everything figured out. I see this as the beginning of a partnership, and I'd love to be part of your journey toward wellness and joy.
