Great to meet you!

Healing Across the Lifespan: A Partnership in Mental Wellness

Choosing a mental health provider is a deeply personal decision. You aren’t just looking for a prescriber; you are looking for a witness to your story, an expert in the biological complexities of the brain, and a partner in your recovery.

My name is Jessica Stanley, and I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). My journey to this practice has been defined by a unique duality: the macro view of a healthcare executive and the micro focus of a dedicated clinician. Before opening the doors to this practice, I served as the Clinical Director for a large-scale healthcare organization. In that role, I was responsible for the oversight of complex systems, the mentorship of large clinical teams, and the implementation of evidence-based protocols across diverse populations.

While my time in leadership allowed me to impact mental health at a systemic level, my true passion has always remained in the quiet, transformative moments of the exam room. I have returned to full-time clinical practice to bring that high-level expertise back to where it matters most: the individual human experience.

Mental health does not exist in a vacuum, nor does it look the same at age seven as it does at seventy. I specialize in treating patients across the entire lifespan. Whether I am working with a child struggling to navigate their first years of school, an adolescent facing the pressures of identity formation, or an adult managing the heavy mantle of career and family, my approach remains the same: comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence based.

Areas of Specialization

I am trained to treat a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions including:

ADHD & Neurodivergence

Anxiety Disorders

Depression

PTSD & Trauma Recovery

My approach to therapy

As a former Clinical Director, I bring a level of rigor to my practice that is unique. I am a lifelong student of psychopharmacology, staying at the absolute forefront of emerging research. I understand how to navigate the complexities of the modern healthcare system, and I am a fierce advocate for my patients’ rights and access to care.

However, beyond the credentials and the leadership titles, I am a clinician who believes in the power of the therapeutic alliance. I don't just treat "disorders"; I treat people. Our work together will be collaborative. You are the expert on your life; I am the expert on the clinical tools that can help improve it. Together, we will build a path toward clarity, stability, and joy.

What you can expect from me

A Pressure-Free Environment

I strive to create a trauma-informed space that is:

  • Transparent: I explain the clinical reasoning behind my questions and potential treatment paths.
  • Non-Judgmental: Whether we are discussing anxiety, depression, or executive dysfunction, this is a "shame-free zone" focused on solutions, not labels.
  • Empowering: You are the expert on your lived experience; I am here to provide the clinical expertise to help you navigate it.

Concrete Goals & Outcomes

By the end of our first hour, we will move toward three specific outcomes:

  1. Diagnostic Clarity: A clear, plain-English explanation of what we are seeing and how it’s affecting your daily life.
  2. A Shared Roadmap: A preliminary treatment plan that may include medication management, therapeutic strategies, or lifestyle adjustments tailored to your specific stage in the lifespan.
  3. Immediate Stabilization: Identifying at least one "quick win" or coping tool you can use the moment you leave the session to start feeling more in control.

My objective is for you to walk away feeling validated, informed, and optimistic that a path forward exists.
