Great to meet you!

Since graduating from USC in 2016 and working as a hospice social worker the last 8 years, I have developed great confidence and passion for supporting adults facing adversity. Challenge, fear, frustration, anxiousness, worry, fatigue, guilt, anger... these feelings are all unavoidable at times in life. I myself have experienced great loss and hardship. I aim to use my knowledge and skills both learned and practiced to encourage others to face these negative circumstances and emotions. Together we’ll make meaning of them, understand the “why”, allowing you to forge ahead with understanding and confidence. While negativity does not FEEL good, YOU have the power to harness it and use it for personal growth; I’ll support your learning, coping, and resilience along the way.

My approach to therapy

I rely heavily on mindfulness & solution-focused CBT modalities to help my clients overcome obstacles and manage everyday life stress. However, no two clients are the same and I value working together to create the best action plan for each person’s unique circumstances. I have found that all people, despite our differences, experience some form of stress or anxiety at some point in life. Maybe through grief and loss, pivotal life changes, work or relationship issues, questioning decisions, or just feeling overwhelmed, depressed, or burnt out. I am confident in my ability to unpack and address these issues to help my clients lead happy and fulfilled lives.

What you can expect from me

I aim to create a safe and welcoming environment for you to be your authentic self. A judgment free zone for creating a working relationship with a splash of humor and fun. I will validate your feelings as well as ask questions and challenge you to look through a different lense to help make positive changes and hold yourself accountable. I will also sit with you in the mud when life gets messy. My goal is that you will leave your session feeling empowered and content.
