Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Jessica, a clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting adults through life’s challenges and transitions. My work includes helping people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship issues, family-of-origin dynamics, work stress, loss, parenthood and postpartum experiences, panic, fears, and addictive or self-defeating patterns of behavior. I aim to create a space where people can speak freely and honestly, feel deeply understood, and reconnect with the fullest and most authentic parts of themselves. Therapy, to me, is about building greater self-awareness and self-acceptance while also making meaningful changes that allow you to live more intentionally and in alignment with who you are.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in an attachment-based and psychodynamic framework, which means we explore how past relationships, early experiences, and longstanding emotional patterns shape the way you relate to yourself and others today. I believe that gaining insight into these deeper patterns can create more freedom, self-compassion, and choice in the present. Alongside this exploratory work, I incorporate practical, evidence-based strategies from CBT and ACT to help support meaningful change in the here and now. Therapy is both a process of understanding yourself more deeply and learning new ways to respond to life with greater intention, flexibility, and authenticity.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get acquainted, establish rapport, and make sure you feel comfortable with the person you’re sitting across from. The therapeutic relationship is the strongest agent of change, so building trust and connection comes first and is something I value deeply in this work. We’ll spend time talking about what’s bringing you in right now, while also gathering some background and context as needed to better understand the bigger picture. The session tends to be a bit more structured than a typical therapy session, with the goal of leaving you with a clearer sense of direction, initial goals, and a plan for how we might work together moving forward.
