Great to meet you!

HI! My name is Jessie and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 22 years of experience helping others through grief and loss. Most of my career has been focused on helping patients and families deal with end of life issues and supporting family members during the bereavement process, which is after the loss a loved one.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, supportive and collaborative- with the intention to identify goals and develop skills to improve well-being, so you will feel better! We will work together to find out what works for you! My hope is for my clients develop a deeper sense of self and feel empowered to use the tools and strategies learned in our work together for future life challenges. Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused, and Narrative Therapy are my typical go-to treatment modalities.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, I want my client to feel comfortable sharing- sharing what has sparked them seeking therapy, sharing about themselves as a person, and sharing what is most important to them. While questions will be asked, my style is very conversational as I learn about you and what you are hoping for and needing from therapy.
