Great to meet you!

I hope you to know that I am a clinician that is willing to listen. I like to create spaces that make it inviting and warm to talk about the things that make use the most uncomfortable.

My approach to therapy

Feelings, they can be complex, painful, rewarding, and confusing. Sometimes those feelings and emotions consume us, other times we avoid them either way; they affect us. In this space, I hope to help guide your understanding of what you are experiencing. To acknowledge triggers, and normalize some of your behaviors without excusing them. In all, my goal as a therapist is to create an environment where you feel listened to and important .

I have had the opportunity to explore a variety of diagnosis and life events through my work in community mental health and private practice . I am certified and trained in evidence-based practices such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma focused CBT, in addition to others. However, I can also take a psycho dynamic approach depending on your needs and wants.

What you can expect from me

From the first session, I hope that you feel listened too. My hope is to create a space where you feel comfortable to speak and and feel heard. Lastly, I hope to make you feel that whatever you talked about you can talk about again without any judgement.
