Great to meet you!

(Appt hours: Monday & Friday 9-1p and Wednesday 9-3p)Hi, I’m Jessica. I believe healing begins when you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. My role is to create a space where you can exhale, take off the mask, and begin the journey toward wholeness and peace.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Right Mentality Mental Health and Wellness, I have dedicated my work to helping people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions with honesty, compassion, and cultural awareness.

I work with a special focus on supporting Black and Brown communities. My approach is collaborative, conversational, and grounded in real life. You can expect open dialogue, practical tools, and a therapist who meets you with both empathy and accountability.

Therapy with me is not about perfection. It is about progress, healing, and learning to show up for yourself in ways that honor your truth and your growth.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s needs. I often integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness techniques to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I have a special passion for working with adults, veterans, and couples by helping them find purpose, heal from past experiences, and strengthen their sense of identity.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to be yourself. I take a collaborative approach which means we’ll work together to identify your goals, explore patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical tools to help you move forward.

My style is compassionate but direct; I’ll listen closely, challenge you when needed, and celebrate your progress along the way. Each session is personalized to fit your needs, whether that means learning new coping skills, processing difficult emotions, or finding clarity during a major life transition.

Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling more grounded, understood, and empowered to make real changes in their lives. My goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and find a stronger sense of balance (both mentally and emotionally).
