I’m Jessica Watson, a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of experience supporting adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and neurodivergent identities. My background includes work in hospitals, schools, and neurological rehabilitation clinics, which shaped my grounded, compassionate approach to care. I earned my master’s in counseling and have advanced training in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), emotional regulation, and brain-based conditions. I’ve spent my entire career helping people who often feel overlooked or misunderstood and I do this work because I know how life-changing the right support can be. Whether you're new to therapy or returning after time away, I offer a space that’s judgment-free, collaborative, and tailored to your pace.
Therapy with me is practical, affirming, and built around your real life. I draw from evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based practices, and solution-focused therapy. Everything is delivered in a way that honors your strengths, values, and goals. I’m here to help you make sense of your thoughts and emotions without getting stuck in them. We’ll explore helpful patterns, build new coping strategies, and uncover the “why” behind what you’re feeling. You’ll have room to show up as your full self, whether that’s messy, quiet, curious, exhausted, or somewhere in between.
You can expect to leave sessions with tools you can actually use, greater clarity around what matters to you, and a growing sense of self-trust. Many clients tell me they feel more seen, less alone, and better equipped to face the day-to-day challenges of anxiety, overwhelm, and feeling out of sync with the world around them. My goal is always to help you move toward a life that feels more sustainable and more like your own, not someone else’s version of success.
