Great to meet you!

My name is Jessica Williams and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for my in the mental health field. I obtained my Masters degree from Marshall University and earned my independent licensure in 2023. I am a certified EMDR clinician and provide other effective trauma treatment modalities. I also provide effective treatment for many other common and uncommon mental health conditions.

My approach to therapy

I enter the therapeutic relationship with a very open-mind and acceptance of where you are on your life path. I am a firm believer that although our mental health can be overwhelming, that we all possess the ability to manage our mental health from fining effective coping skills and processing our thoughts and feelings in a therapeutic setting.

What you can expect from me

I feel that ultimate goal of therapy should be that we do not need to attend therapy. I feel it is impoetant to work diligently together in the therapeutic relationship to identify needs of my clients with using effective and tailored interventions. There will be expectations by myself for openness and honesty in the effectiveness of agreed upon interventions to ensure positive treatment outcomes. I work to foster a trusting and open-minded environment for clients to flourish in managing their own mental health.
