Great to meet you!

As a kind, caring, and open-minded licensed professional counselor, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges and find healing and growth. I believe in the power of a supportive therapeutic relationship, where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. My approach is client-centered, meaning that I prioritize your unique needs, goals, and experiences. I create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can freely express yourself and explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. I offer empathy, compassion, and unconditional positive regard, fostering an environment of trust and acceptance while working to help you discover your best self.

My approach to therapy

Through meaningful collaboration, we will begin your journey to self exploration, healing, and growth. I have over 24 years of clinical mental health experience with depression, anxiety, mood and psychotic disorders, complicated grief, relationship struggles, family and interpersonal conflicts, serious mental illness, memory impairment, crisis intervention, addiction and recovery with teens, adults and the elderly. In addition, I have extensive hands-on experience helping clients and their families navigate critical mental health resources, advocacy, education, and support services.

What you can expect from me

A better understanding of self and how it translates to their current challenges in life. This is developed through collaboration during our sessions as well as by utilizing numerous key psychological inventories.
