Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Jessica and I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a master’s degree in Professional Counseling, experienced in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, betrayal and trust, family conflict, shame, and difficult life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized, drawing from approaches such as EMDR, parts-based therapy, CBT, and DBT. As a Christian counselor, I’m also happy to thoughtfully integrate faith and spirituality into therapy when that is meaningful to the client.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping clients understand the patterns beneath what they are experiencing. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel both understood and gently challenged, so I work at a pace that feels safe while still encouraging growth and deeper self-awareness. I integrate a variety of approaches, including EMDR, parts-based therapy, CBT, solution-focused techniques, and DBT, based on each client’s unique needs and goals. For clients who desire it, I also integrate Christian faith and spirituality in a way that is thoughtful, authentic, and relevant to their healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable, welcoming space where you can begin to share what brought you to therapy and what you hope will be different. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your history, and the patterns or challenges you may be experiencing, while beginning to identify goals for our work together. You can expect questions and conversation, but you won’t be pressured to share anything before you’re ready. By the end of our first session, I hope you feel heard, understood, and have a clearer sense of where we can begin.
