Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm a Latino therapist (he/him) born and raised in East Los Angeles. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from UCLA and my Master of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. With nearly 9 years of experience in child welfare, probation, and community mental health, I use a holistic, trauma-informed approach to support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, trauma-informed approach to therapy. Together, we'll explore the patterns, experiences, and challenges that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, or the effects of trauma. I adapt my approach to each person's needs and focus on helping clients gain insight, build practical skills, and move toward the changes they want to make.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what's bringing you to therapy. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, what's been challenging for you, and what you'd like to work on. We'll also talk about what you hope to get out of therapy and start identifying goals that make sense for you. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself and where we can work together at a pace that feels right.
