Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) with over two decades of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges.

I am passionate about helping individuals who are struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, and the everyday stressors that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. I also have a passion for working with women who are experiencing difficult life transitions and periods of grief & loss.

My approach to therapy

I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported without judgment.

My approach to therapy is client-centered, meaning I meet each person where they are and tailor the therapeutic process to their unique needs and goals. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and together we work toward creating greater balance, self-awareness, and emotional well-being in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive therapeutic relationship. During this session, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you may be facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. There is no pressure to share everything at once, we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I’ll also ask questions about your personal history, relationships, emotional well-being, and any current stressors so I can better understand your experiences and how to best support you. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions, share any concerns, and get a feel for what working together may look like.

My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood from the very beginning. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. We will work together to identify goals, build insight, and create a path forward that feels meaningful and manageable for you.
