Great to meet you!

For the past two years I worked with individuals struggling with addiction and underlying mental health issues who were brave enough to want to try something new. It was a privilege to empower them with knowledge and tools in the recovery process. For four years before that I worked in under-resourced public schools helping children and families access therapy for (usually) the first time. There I used my creativity, flexibility, and patience to meet people wherever they were at – both psychologically and literally, in their schools, communities, and homes. Each of these experiences taught me to take a creative, person-centered approach that focuses on being strengths-based, mindful, and adaptive.

My approach to therapy

Ultimately, I maintain an eclectic approach, pulling from various types of therapy based on our work together and your goals. I am also trained in art therapy and passionate about utilizing a creative approach, which can bring something unique to our work together or to places where you might feel stuck.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, I will take time to learn more about your background, your goals, and what has and hasn't worked for you before. Then, in our second session, I take a collaborative approach to developing your treatment plan and goals for our work together.
