Great to meet you!

Have you been feeling powerless over your worries and stress? Are you struggling with perfectionism, major life changes, or healing from your trauma? I have been helping adults, families, and children for 21 years. As a trauma specialist my first priority is helping you feel safe and will always value your comfort while helping you learn new ways to process your thoughts and emotions. No approach works for everyone so I am trained in many ways of doing effective therapy made just for you.

My approach to therapy

My therapy style is all about flexibility and felt safety. Everything that we do together will be designed just for you and you and your needs. I often challenge you to think about what you believe about yourself, practice relaxing your body with exercises you can take home, and explore what you can do now to break free of compulsions, self judgment, and people pleasing. I help you better understand yourself and ways to grow. Have a dark sense of humor? It's welcome here. You can feel better!

What you can expect from me

Therapy starts with a relationship so I get to know you and you get to know my style so that you feel comfortable. We'll explore your thoughts and beliefs and find those that might be influenced by anxiety and hurting your progress and work on finding new ways to think that support your healing. I'll empower you with techniques to calm your anxiety, overcome depressive symptoms, and guide you in managing stressors without being overwhelmed.
