Great to meet you!

Do you ever feel like everything has just gotten too complex? The outside world, relationships, and even your own mind? I am passionate about helping others return to a simpler, more grounded way of interacting with relationships, the mind, and the world around them - reducing suffering and restoring a sense of peace.

I’m fascinated by how the brain works, but I also believe YOU are not your brain. It is allowed to think - sometimes loudly and persistently - but the SELF within you can learn to step back from that internal noise. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Dealing with anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, and more. My role is to help you reconnect with what matters most and find a more meaningful, peaceful way of living.

My approach to therapy

If you have traditional Medicare, UHC, CHAMPVA, or BCBS insurance, reach out to me directly at (318)519-1915 to book an appointment. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my practice. This approach focuses on creating new behaviors and thought patterns that align with your values, rather than trying to eliminate difficult thoughts or emotions. ACT helps you develop a different relationship with your mind — one that allows you to step back from internal noise and focus on what truly matters. Together, we work toward building awareness, flexibility, and movement toward a life that feels rich and meaningful.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will ask you to "tell me your story". I believe each person carries a rich and complex history, and I want to take the time to understand both where you’ve been and what you’re currently facing.

Using this information, we’ll begin identifying your core values and exploring what a "rich and meaningful life" looks like for you. From there, we’ll develop a plan to help shift your focus toward the present and increase movement toward value-based living.

My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to you.
