I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents, and I am especially passionate about utilizing play therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). I specialize in treating behavioral challenges, anxiety, trauma, anger-related concerns, and adjustment difficulties. With years of experience in the mental health field, I am well-equipped to support a wide range of concerns that may be impacting a child’s emotional well-being and daily functioning.
My approach emphasizes teaching and strengthening skills for self-regulation, emotional awareness, and healthy coping behaviors. I strive to create a warm, safe, and supportive environment where children and teens feel comfortable processing difficult experiences. At the same time, I work to empower each client to “unbridle their hope” and build the confidence and tools needed to heal from trauma and navigate life’s challenges, opening the door to a more fulfilling and balanced life.
I also have significant experience working with adults across various stages of life. I am committed to creating an atmosphere that is warm, inviting, accepting, and nonjudgmental. I believe in meeting clients where they are and supporting them in their personal growth at their own pace.
My work with adults includes helping individuals navigate life transitions, stress, grief and loss, trauma, parenting challenges, divorce, depression, anxiety, anger, postpartum concerns, marital issues, chronic mental health conditions, and the physical effects of stress. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches to support skill-building and meaningful, lasting change.
Ultimately, my goal—whether working with children or adults—is to empower clients to rediscover hope, heal from life’s challenges, and move forward with the tools and confidence needed to live the highest quality of life possible.
