Great to meet you!
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my practice. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington. Early in my career, I served as a special education social worker in both Plano ISD and Coppell ISD, where I partnered closely with students, families, and educators to support the emotional well-being of children and their loved ones. After obtaining my clinical social work license, I opened my private practice here in Coppell, Texas.
For more than twenty years, I have had the privilege of working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families facing a wide range of challenges. These include anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, autism spectrum-related concerns, ADHD, bipolar disorder, self-harm, and more. My work is grounded in helping clients build coping and anger management skills, while using evidence based treatment approaches to address the unique struggles each person brings. I see clients from age eight through adulthood, and I offer individual, couples, family, and group therapy tailored to their needs. In addition, I enjoy providing seminars to organizations on topics related to mental health and well-being.
On a more personal note, my family and I immigrated to the U.S. when I was four years old, and North Dallas has been my home for more than 37 years. This community has shaped who I am both personally and professionally, and I am grateful to give back through my work.
