Great to meet you!

I’m a Loyola University Chicago graduate with a doctoral degree in psychology and extensive training across clinical and educational settings. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, with particular experience helping people navigate anxiety, relationships, life transitions, identity, and questions of purpose and direction. In addition to therapy, I provide psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents. I offer services in both English and Spanish.

My approach to therapy

I take a thoughtful, collaborative approach to therapy, creating a space where you can be honest, curious, and explore what is happening beneath the surface. I believe meaningful change comes from both understanding ourselves and taking action, so we’ll explore the experiences, relationships, beliefs, and stories that have shaped you while also considering what you want to do differently moving forward. I draw from ACT, Narrative, existential, and psychodynamic approaches, adapting therapy to each person rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. My goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness and clarity while using that insight to create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what feels most important to address, and what you hope will be different as a result of therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet, we can work together to make sense of where you are and identify some meaningful goals to work toward. Most importantly, I want you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of what moving forward might look like.
