Jewel Woods

Jewel Woods (MA, MSW, LISW-S) is the Founder and Clinical Director of Male Behavioral Health & the Center For Men & Boys. Under his leadership Male Behavioral Health has grown to three state-wide offices and obtained several major community partnerships including with local school districts and national organizations. Jewel is a licensed independent social worker with training supervision designation who has over twenty years of advocacy working with and on behalf of diverse individuals and communities. Jewel has a Master of Arts in Sociology and a Masters degree in Social Work. He is currently an Adjunct Faculty member teaching graduate level clinicians at the University of Michigan.

At Male Behavioral Health, I help men and boys navigate life’s challenges with honesty, strength, and compassion. My approach blends evidence-based methods with a deep understanding of how masculinity, culture, and connection shape our well-being—creating space for healing, accountability, and growth.

In your first session, you can expect a relaxed, honest conversation focused on understanding your story—what’s working, what’s not, and what you hope to change. Together, we’ll clarify your goals, begin identifying patterns that may be holding you back, and set a direction for your work ahead. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and ready to start the process of growth.
