Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jheanelle Bailey, a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 17 years of experience caring for individuals with cancer. My background includes pediatric and adult oncology, chemotherapy infusion, and inpatient and outpatient cancer care, giving me a deep understanding of the emotional challenges that can come with a cancer diagnosis. While I have a special passion for supporting patients, survivors, caregivers, and families affected by cancer, I also provide psychiatric care for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care—including medication management and brief therapy —in a supportive, judgment-free environment where every patient feels heard, understood, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best care starts with truly listening. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and never judged. Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan that fits your unique needs, including medication management when appropriate and supportive guidance along the way. Whether you're coping with the emotional impact of cancer or dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, or life's many challenges, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story, your goals, and what matters most to you. We'll talk about what brought you in, review your history, and work together to create a personalized treatment plan that feels right for you. You'll leave with a better understanding of your options and a clear plan for moving forward, knowing you have someone in your corner.
