Great to meet you!

Close your eyes.... Imagine waking up every morning feeling just plain good or even great. How great would that feel? I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider Credential and a Ph.D. in psychology. I have over a decade of experience working with diverse populations struggling with various degrees and types of trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and different difficult life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is holistic. I utilize an integrated counseling approach to meet the needs of each client. ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), mindfulness, and EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) are common therapeutic approaches that I use to create a meaningful and customized treatment.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for clients to leave each session one step closer to fully living versus simply existing. I strive to create an emotionally safe environment. Homework between sessions is also an ongoing goal. Learning practical, healthy, and effective coping skills are essential to use in daily life. Other outcomes could include being intentional about basic self-care, building self-worth, creating healthy habits, executing boundaries, healing the inner child, and overall “retraining” the brain.
