Great to meet you!

I am experienced working with queer adults, immigrants, and those navigating family trauma and complex relational histories. I am bilingual in English and Mandarin, and much of my work takes place with people living between cultures, where identity can feel layered, negotiated, and at times in conflict. These experiences often intersect, and our work may explore the tensions between autonomy and obligation, belonging and difference, authenticity and survival.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in a psychodynamic and feminist lens. I pay attention to how cultural narratives, gender roles, family, and systems of power shape the internal world; how much of ourselves we set aside to function, belong, or be seen as useful. I offer a space to slow down, notice patterns, and understand who you are beyond what you produce or provide.

What you can expect from me

I do not see therapy as a neutral, one-sided process. It is a meeting of two subjectivities. I am not a distant sounding board, and you are not a problem to be solved. The relationship itself becomes part of the work. It is a space where patterns emerge, are observed together, and where something new can begin.
