Great to meet you!

I am an LPC-MHSP. I graduated from Liberty University with a Master's in Professional Counseling and from Bethel University with a Bachelors in Psychology, Sociology and Religion. I have worked in the mental health field since 2007, with individuals ages 4-adulthood. I have a compassion to work to help others to bring about peace and endurance. I have a well-rounded experience, working in intensive in-home therapy, outpatient therapy, substance use treatment and school-based therapy.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy with an open mind, knowing that every person is different. I utilize a solution-based approach, working to assist in identifying needs and positive actions, as well as a cognitive behavioral approach to increase awareness, perspective and behavioral outcomes. I enjoy a collaborative and holistic approach, implementing evidenced based treatment based on individualized needs.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to take away a positive outlook, sense of hope, encouragement, empathy and understanding. Overall, identifying a goal, obtaining skills to work towards resiliency and endurance, and taking steps to bring about positive outcome.
