Great to meet you!

I am open and honest with all my clients. I have an LISW and have work in the mental health field since I was 21, starting with working in direct care in a child residential facility, to a Workshop for intellectually disabled adults, assistant to psychologist who performed psychological testing, to 4 years as a therapist. Personally I am married with 2 wonderful children and prefer to read novels on my free time.

My approach to therapy

I'm direct in therapy, and will be honest with everyone. I use cognitive behavioral therapy with most clients but I am trained in Gottman's method for couples therapy, Trauma-focused CBT for children, Structural therapy for families and utilize Motivational interviewing to help each client explore themselves. I am a relational person and feel that it is crucial to build a relationship with each client.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take away from each session, questions for self-exploration. Therapy does not stop at my door.
