Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I have experience working with individuals who have experienced anxiety, depression, life changes, trauma and substance use challenges. I support individuals on issues of mental health concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, stress & problem-solving skills. My goal is to provide compassionate care focusing on strengths. Together we can safely explore your past, learn to stay mindful in the present, and work towards the future you envision.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to meet you where you are at on your journey. I help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and/or life transition issues. My client-centered approach helps individuals lessen irrational thinking patterns and self-defeating behaviors. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals recognize how negative thought patterns influence their thoughts and emotions. However, sessions with me are designed to meet your individual needs.

What you can expect from me

All of us can feel the impact of these uncertain times. Life can present itself with unpredictable situations that may impact your ability to live the life you desire. Uncertainty and adjusting to life changes may feel difficult, stressful, and overwhelming. I believe in the capacity of human resilience, and the power to overcome life's challenges so you can create ways to experience and enjoy your life fully.
