Great to meet you!

I believe that healthy relationships are one of the most important parts of emotional well-being. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I help individuals and couples strengthen communication, navigate conflict, process life transitions, and build deeper, healthier connections with themselves and others.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, and I work to make the process feel comfortable, approachable, and meaningful from the very beginning.

I have experience supporting clients with relationship challenges, anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, communication difficulties, self-esteem concerns, and personal growth. I work with adults, couples, and individuals who are looking to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, and create lasting positive change.

My approach to therapy

My therapy approach is personalized, evidence-based, and focused on helping clients create practical, lasting change. I draw from several therapeutic approaches depending on each client’s unique needs and goals, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method techniques, and EMDR/trauma-informed interventions.

I believe therapy should be both supportive and actionable. Together, we work to identify patterns, improve communication, strengthen coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and develop healthier ways of responding to stress and relationship challenges.

I view therapy as a collaborative process. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor sessions to each client’s experiences, strengths, and goals while helping them feel supported throughout the process.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable therapeutic relationship. Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they can openly discuss what brought them to therapy, current challenges they may be experiencing, and what they hope to gain from the process.

During this session, I’ll ask questions about your background, relationships, stressors, emotional experiences, and goals for therapy so I can better understand your needs. We’ll also discuss what therapy may look like moving forward and begin identifying helpful strategies and next steps.

My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work we can do together.
