Great to meet you!

Are you or your loved ones struggling? Give me a call. I have a passion for supporting children and parents. I am an adoptive and former foster parent, I have worked with children in schools, hospitals and mental health agencies. My education includes graduate degrees in both Developmental Psychology and Social Work and I have published research on families.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Everyone is the expert in their own life. I listen carefully to their stories. I help clients recognize and utilize their strengths in order to address their challenges. .

What you can expect from our first session

Clients who have worked with me report learning new ways of thinking and skills to address overwhelming emotions. They state that I am calm and fun and 'cool' (meaning not judgmental). Interacting with a therapist in sessions helps people learn skills to use in the world outside the session.
