Great to meet you!

I completed my training at the University of Miami Medical School/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. I work from a strength-based perspective to evaluate and treat emotional and behavioral issues. These include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse and developmental disorders. Additionally, I aid people in learning skills and making life changes that lead to more fulfilling lives including in their work environment. These skills include decreasing workplace stress, burnout and helping neurodivergent professionals. I have a strong belief that people can make changes if they are commited to do so.

I utilize the best treatment method for the individual. I am skilled in the implementation of Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, hypnosis and coaching techniques. In addition, I also have a strong background in behavioral medicine.

Life can be stressful and transitions can be a challenge. I provide a calm, caring environment to facilitate change and collaborate with the people with whom I work.

My approach to therapy

I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling understood. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring life’s challenges, developing insight, and building practical skills for lasting change.

Drawing from evidence-based approaches, I help clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck while focusing on realistic strategies that promote emotional well-being, resilience, and personal growth. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, or simply feeling overwhelmed, we’ll work together to develop a plan that fits your goals and values.

I believe therapy should not only provide insight but also empower you with tools you can use in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you can share your concerns at your own pace.

During our first meeting, we’ll discuss:

  • What brings you to therapy and the challenges you’re currently facing.
  • Your personal, family, and relevant life history.
  • Your goals for therapy and what you hope to achieve.
  • Any questions or concerns you have about the therapeutic process.

By the end of our session, we’ll identify the most important areas to focus on and develop an initial action plan with clear next steps. While therapy is a process, I believe clients should leave the very first session feeling heard, understood, and with a greater sense of direction and hope.
