Great to meet you!

If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with depression, navigating relationship challenges, healing from trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, you're not alone. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward. Others are navigating life transitions, family stress, women's issues, grief, or substance use concerns that are impacting their relationships, confidence, and overall well-being.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 24 years of experience, I provide a warm, supportive space where you can feel safe, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. My goal is to help you to better understand the challenges you're facing, build on your strengths, and develop healthier ways of coping so you can move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be collaborative, authentic, and tailored to your unique needs. No two people have the same experiences, so I take time to understand your story, your relationships, and the patterns that may be contributing to your current struggles. Together, we'll identify what's holding you back while building on the strengths you already possess.

My approach draws from psychodynamic therapy, client-centered therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), family systems approaches, and attachment-focused work. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, women's issues, grief, or substance use challenges, we'll focus on practical strategies that support lasting growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable sharing openly and honestly.

As we work together, you can expect compassion, support, and practical guidance. Clients often leave therapy with greater self-awareness, healthier coping skills, stronger relationships, increased confidence, and a clearer understanding of themselves and their goals. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more empowered, resilient, and capable of creating meaningful, lasting change.
