Great to meet you!

After nearly three decades as a therapist, I've learned that there is no single way people arrive at a place where they need support. You may be struggling with anxiety or depression, working through trauma or grief, navigating changes in your relationships or family, or simply recognizing that something in your life isn't working the way you want it to anymore.

I bring 29 years of experience working with adults through many different seasons and challenges of life. My style is warm, open-minded, and empowering, and I believe therapy should be a place where you feel understood while also making meaningful progress. Together, we'll make sense of what you're experiencing, build on the strengths you already have, and develop healthier ways of moving forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe good therapy is personal. Two people can experience similar challenges and need very different things from therapy, so I take time to understand your experiences, relationships, strengths, and the patterns that have shaped where you are today.

My approach draws from psychodynamic, relational, attachment-based, and strengths-based therapy, along with DBT and family systems approaches. We'll balance deeper understanding with practical strategies, helping you recognize patterns, strengthen relationships, develop healthier ways of coping, and create changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

You can expect warmth, compassion, honesty, and a therapist who brings decades of experience without assuming that I already know your story. I'll meet you with curiosity and respect, creating space for difficult conversations while helping you identify what you want to change and how we can work toward it together.

Therapy with me is collaborative. We'll explore what's beneath the surface while also paying attention to what can help you in your life right now. My hope is that our work leaves you with greater self-understanding, stronger relationships, more confidence in yourself, and tools you can continue using long after therapy.
