Great to meet you!

After earning a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling, I spent most of my career in the Nashville Music Business as a Marketing, Promotion, and Management Exec, working at multiple corporations as well as running my own freelance consulting business. As things do, the industry changed, I changed, and the vision I had for my life most definitely changed! I returned to the field of counseling and became licensed in the state of Tennessee, while also completing a coaching program focused on communication, emotional intelligence and general life coaching.

I work with adults who deal with anxiety, depression, adjustment issues and trauma, am well-versed in relationship issues, communication problems and helping clients form necessary boundaries. My experience in the music business gives me a unique, personal perspective on the specific issues that arise for those in the entertainment world and I understand the mind of creatives. I also have experience working in tandem with Vanderbilt neurology dept helping those with trauma-related conversion disorder and PNES.

I adore this work, care deeply about the well-being of my clients and nothing is more fulfilling to me than watching others become the best version of themselves and being able to play a role in that process.

also, clients will hear about my dog:)

My approach to therapy

Using a combination of evidenced-based modalities as well as solution-focused coaching skills I am down-to-earth, humorous, and use an eclectic approach tailored to each individual client’s needs. I am person-centered and highly relational and known to be direct. I love collaborating with clients to help them navigate difficult seasons in order to grow into healthier, happier versions of themselves. My clients may be surprised when they begin looking forward to their sessions even when it's hard, and that laughing through tears is often highly therapeutic.

I am currently scheduling clients during the week both virtually and in my Franklin, TN office.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will entail a detailed intake outlining what the client is wanting to work on in therapy and also some lighter conversation to get to know each other.
