Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor and licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of Texas with over 17 years of clinical experience working with adolescents and adults with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, sex therapy, parenting and marital problems, career challenges, adjustment to life changes and grief/loss.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is warm and approachable. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I will use these modalities to tailor your needs and develop a treatment plan that best suits your goals.

What you can expect from me

I truly believe that rapport and therapeutic relationships are extremely important for therapy to be successful, therefore we will take some time to make sure I am the right fit for you and I will never be offended if you feel you need a different approach. It takes courage to take the steps to start counseling and I will honor and respect your journey through this season of life. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to walk alongside you with encouragement and support!
